Our Mission
We envision, pray and believe in a future in which those who have been incarcerated can encounter the grace and love of Christ, develop a passionate relationship with Him and be set free spiritually as well as physically. We coach and prepare "Returning Citizens" to become leaders of their families, communities and churches once they are released back into the community.
Our Goal
To provide Returning Citizens (aka ex-offenders) with:
Spiritual and Financial Empowerment
Job and Entrepreneurial Skill Development Opportunities
A Personal Life Coach to assist them with a safe re-entry experience
Food and Affordable Housing
Education to aid them in their achievements and potential for success in life
STATISTICS STATE:Two out of three released prisoners will return to prison again within three years.

The Hard Truth
The current prison recidivism rate is 68% but Vital Signs' participants have a 2% rate

Over 600,000 will return to society each year with only $25-$50 in their pocket. Vital Signs' participants leave our program with at least $1,000 or more saved in their bank accounts
Vital Signs Re-entry Ministry is here to change all of that…
We link each Returning Citizen with a Re-entry Life Coach who has access to our re-entry app called, “The Pokket.” This system allows our coaches to have access to an updated database of thousands of local and national providers and ex-offender-friendly employers whose primary purpose is to reduce prison recidivism in our country. Our Re-entry Life Coaches will assist our participants with life skill training and goal setting for at least six to 12 months or whatever is needed.
We provide and/or assist with six months to one year of housing, food and clothing.
We provide on-demand transportation via our reentry Uplift transportation services.
We provide job, career and entrepreneurial opportunities via our reentry staffing agency called Safe Staffing.
We provide spiritual and financial empowerment to help our participants become law-abiding, tax-paying citizens who become reintegrated into the community.
Meet Pastor Lee
Vital Signs Re-entry was founded by Lee Robbins in 2009. Lee better understood the plight of "Returning Citizens," (ex-offenders in the eyes of society) after life coaching several returned citizens in Phillips Transitional Center. He was stirred in his heart to help prisoners and their families thrive, not just survive, through the transition process. He wanted to teach them that God values them and to equip them with the essential necessities they would need to successfully transition back into society. God has done amazing things through Vital Signs Re-entry and has touched many men and their families through the generous support of our partners. There's so much more to come!
